Instructions

How to use it

Use these written steps alongside the downloaded resource.

  1. Choose one role or experience

Start with one job, placement, project, volunteer role, or learning experience.

    • Use a date range and setting you can verify.
    • Keep patient, colleague, employer-confidential, and other identifying details out.
  2. Record what you actually did

Describe the situation, your responsibility, the action you took, and the result.

    • Use your own words first.
    • Mark any metric, outcome, or scope detail that still needs confirmation.
  3. Attach the evidence

Note the non-confidential source that supports each claim, such as an evaluation, project record, certificate, or personal work log.

    • Do not upload private records to an AI tool.
    • Remove names, record numbers, contact details, and sensitive context from drafting material.
  4. Build the safe drafting brief

Select only verified, relevant evidence for the application or conversation in front of you.

    • Ask AI to organize or edit the evidence, never to invent it.
    • Review every final claim for accuracy, tone, and fit.

Responsible use

Keep the boundary visible

Use this resource within your approved boundaries

  • Do not include patient, colleague, student, employer-confidential, credential, or other identifying information.
  • Verify every claim and metric yourself; AI must not create experience, qualifications, or outcomes you cannot support.
