Stop conditions

Record the conditions that should pause or end the pilot.

Instructions

How to use it

Use these written steps alongside the downloaded resource.

  1. Choose and map one workflow

Choose one repeated, bounded workflow. Record its trigger and current handoff.

    • List the inputs allowed for the pilot.
    • Mark patient-identifiable, confidential, credential, and regulated data as prohibited.
  2. Define the assisted workflow

Name the approved tool and account, then state exactly what AI may draft, summarize, sort, or transform.

    • Name the human reviewer who owns the final decision.
    • Define the exact output, next handoff, safeguard, and escalation path.
  3. Plan the pilot

Set the outcome and observable measure before testing, then define the test group, duration, and review cadence.

    • Choose evidence to collect, such as time, errors, rework, quality, or feedback.
    • Keep the test bounded and reversible.
  4. Set the decision boundary

Define the privacy, safety, quality, security, or workflow conditions that stop the pilot.

    • Set the decision date.
    • Choose the next decision—continue, revise, expand, pause, or stop—and name who has authority.
